My Website!

My lovely partner is my web designer, and he has been toiling away for days on end to meet my requirements. I am so pleased with the way it has turned out, thank you Clive! The pressure is on me now, to create some more collections to add to my portfolio. I am thinking, bold, very retro, lines and texture details, and yellow will probably feature in the colour palette, as I am completely in love with yellow right now! Floral's will be the main subject matter, and I will also be extending my Daydream Doodles collection. It's early days, and I am very apprehensive, but excited and hopeful too!

A Windy Day At Amroth

A very grey and windy day at Amroth beach! I have always loved being near the sea, especially when the weather is rough, it makes it far more exciting, and the air is so fresh. The top of the beach is littered with stones, many with interesting markings and rings, so I had to take some pictures, for inspiration.

I Love Spoonflower!

I had five samples of my work printed by Spoonflower, and I love the way the
patterns look on fabric. To say I am  excited would be an understatement! If and when I have some spare cash, I am going to get some more swatches printed, maybe even a few metres. I am not very good at sewing, but I would love to try making a cute little smock dress for my daughter.

My Work

 These are my favourite creations.

I am working on a collection of "doodles" and loving the cute factor!

This is my first post and I feel a little scared, as my partner is not here to help me! He is very good at computer stuff, I am not. Fact. However, despite my technological ineptitude, I intend to try my best and become a great blogger, eventually! It has been nearly ten years since I graduated from college with a degree in Applied Design, and with an overwhelming urge to create patterns, I decided to stop ignoring my calling and put myself and my work "out there" with the intention of becoming a professional designer/printer. So, here I am!
